Supporting physicians in need since 1878

Our mission at PAADV is to provide temporary financial support in the form of grants and stipends to physicians in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey who are facing unanticipated hardships.
Our clients include those with chronic illness, catastrophic injury, disability, recovery from substance dependency or other problems that have disrupted their capacity to meet the challenges of their careers as physicians. We have helped many doctors and their families get through tough times. For those suffering through a period of unemployment or who need expensive rehabilitation, financial assistance can be critical to achieve recovery and return to medical practice.
Your privacy is part of our core mission. All client information is completely confidential.

PAADV is a non-profit organization consisting of a volunteer advisory board of active and retired physicians. We meet regularly to assess appropriate on-going support for our clients. We employ an administrator and a licensed social worker to evaluate client needs and provide reliable check-ins to ensure progress.
